Grant Guidelines & Invitation Process

The Katers Foundation proactively identifies and invites organizations to submit grant proposals. As a private charitable foundation, we focus our resources on supporting educational, cultural, and community initiatives in Michigan's Upper Peninsula that align with Catholic principles.

While full proposals are accepted by invitation only, we welcome Letters of Inquiry (LOI) from nonprofits that meet our core geographic and mission-driven criteria. Our board reviews inquiries to identify potential new partnerships that strengthen the social and cultural fabric of our region.

Total project budget and specific amount requested.
Intended sources for project funding other than this request.
